6th and 8th grade students will complete a social studies fair project and compete in the school and district social studies fair. The purpose of this project is to choose a topic and investigate a question in one of the following categories: anthropology, sociology, economics, history, geography, and political science. Through research, students will answer their topic question in the form of a paper with a bibliography, present their findings on a tri-board, and include a unique student-made model that enhances the research findings. Parents, I need your help in assisting students with this endeavor. I have provided the guidelines to each student. I have broken up the workload into various due dates and checkpoints.
